Just over 25 miles cross country today, fresh but sunny here in Lincolnshire. Some lovely signs of spring and plenty of wildlife to see.
Time for a quick break
Moo-ndraker
About the most deer I’ve seen in one go, and we have a lot of them around here, I could only get half of the herd in the photo.
With 7 miles to go progress was slowed somewhat by a lunch stop. Don’t usually stop for a meal as we go out before breakfast and do that on the ride, timing was right today even if it did slow me down quite a bit getting home!
Canal is still partially frozen, but Ingola invited me for a casual cruise next month so I gotta start training before it snows again
Short Leg Day loop on Monolith. It is not warm out there
Perfect way to close out a crazy working week, first ride of the year on Bee. After her annual service she's sweet as a nut. New fancy Hope BB and with some new headset and front wheel bearings, she's super smooth. I'll squeeze out 1 more season on this cassette before the eye-watering replacement.
Anyway, firm 20-25 NW wind, patchy high cloud, 11 degrees but felt like 7 in the shade.
