There are quite a few drop bar mtb conversions, re-born hybrids, and modern gravel bikes around and abouts on RB with threads in the various sections. Maybe be time to start a general sub forum that all of those bikes could go into. Could be somewhere for CX bikes, too.

Ok...i will try again :) If you have pedals that use an 8mm allen key, to tighten/remove, then the Jtek extenders need modifying by drilling a hole through the endof them, so you can get an allen key into the pedal spindle. I didn't like the idea of drilling a hole big enough to put an 8mm...

I wouldn't use the cheap ones that are all over ebay, for example. Tbh, though, there are enough of them being sold and the only snapped extenders you read about, on the internet, are the original Specialized jobbies. Then it was only a handful and i think it was mostly due to people doing them...

Sram 12 speed cassettes that aren't for XD cassette bodies will fit Shimano HG cassette bodies. Pretty sure other 12 speed cassettes will fit as long as they aren't Shimano Microspline, or Sram XD, too.

Good grief! It is amazing that someone drilled such a small hole, in very little material, so close to the original. How was fixing the original not possible with a Helicoil, JB Weld, or Araldite as the original has clearly not been stuck in the frame.

Cantis, no guard eyes and cable stops/ guides at the headtube make me think this is a single chainring cyclocross frame. Bottle bosses maybe for training , or for longer events like the 3 Peaks.

Two many zeros. Start at £30 or BiN of £50 is more realistic. Bottle bosses are missing so unfinished frames and the tubing and welding all looks shonky as. Not complete junk but pretty close! Cable guides/stops will help someone identify what they really are.

Need more pics of other areas of the frame.
