    Anti-theft parts bin sh*tter.

True commitment to the project is going to be some gravel rash. You have put this much effort in to this you now have to bin it on a right hander to get that genuine look to the mech, pedal, grip and the end of the brake lever. That or just get a rasp file and do your best over a cup of coffee.

Slightly concerned you have trimmed the cable inners. At leat one or two should be full length and have a load of loops at the end. Being a commuter it definitely needs a front flap. How about the classic made out of a 2liter milk bottle? or an L plate?. The rear can have one too but that needs...

Welcome to RB and the Peugeot looks tidy. This will be of interest to some people here. There is usually someone who will remember the shop or have bought stuff there. Sometimes someone will have a shopfront photo which is always cool to see. If you are comfortable sharing details; please...

Gaffer Tape, Baler Twine, your tools that aren't tools?

Modern toothpaste tubes . Cut the ends off and split down the middle. This makes a flexible strong sheet that can be used inside a split tyre to stop the tube coming out. Can be used at a decent pressure, too. Plastic money notes may also work, but haven't tried them.

I think it needs odd rims. A cheapo aluminium deep aero rim maybe?. Definitely needs a sticker of some sort.

Wanted Rigid 26" fork (Disc, QR fit, 1&1/8" steerer) Carbon or Alloy

Mine must be quite a few years old now. I got it as a placeholder but it is now earning its keep on my dad bike. I weighed it many moons ago and i think it might have been about 680 grams, or there abouts with 200mm of steerer. The newer versions might still be around that weight and i can't say...

Wanted Rigid 26" fork (Disc, QR fit, 1&1/8" steerer) Carbon or Alloy

Some years ago i got hold of a Mosso fork. It is a canti and disc model and i think it might be an MD4, or M4. Something like that, anyway. It is 405mm A2C and very light so those are another option. They clear 2.2 tyres with bags of room and look very well made. I can't comment on the newer...

Wanted Rigid 26" fork (Disc, QR fit, 1&1/8" steerer) Carbon or Alloy

With sag taken into account i think more like 410ish would be the ticket. Rake is another issue to get right.

Starting to really look like you want to check that your Tetanus jab is up to date before riding. Good work.
