well im getting back into cycling, after shingles fckd my back up 5 years ago, i still have nerve damage and pain with it and discovered last month, i can no longer get down, to ride my road back for more than 10 mins, without crippling me, it a dynatech 2070 tt lopro. so fancy doing some gentle riding now weather has broke and do some bike touring. nothing crazy at first. as lost all thigh strength as well. im amazed at how quick my body has gone wtf! lol

wanted a gemini as its more like a rando, and not as cramped as an mtb, ive looked at some of the new tourers and they are insane money, and frames are just bog standard alloy, could be carrerra alloy frame, painted in a sexy colour and a badge slapped on, just crap. give me a reynolds any day om old school 51 btw lol

would a 135 axle fit the 135 frame ok? its all steel, so i cant see a problem myself, as i said, i want to fit rack braze ons, on the front and rear fork, once i find some one, who can do it, near south wales.

is yours on 130mm axle with road rims? i know very little about these.

one more question, is hyperglide better than casette? what it is, ive got a choice of either 130mm axle with 6 speed hyperglide or 135mm axle with 7 speed casette.

Bike has been dropped of at Jons Bike Repair for a rebuild to my desired specs. Far, far, far quicker than I could build it and without the dozen of mistakes I would inevitably make.

and ummmm do you think, you could name this bike shop, maybe i could go along and see the work when it is done, maybe i could drop my frame off there and wait to see, if the mechanic, notices the switcheroony lol

lol yeah, a bit of a clue lol juist up the road a bit from abergavenny, on the heads of the valleys. ive got a nos tt lopro here, never been ridden, never fully built up. im trying to shift to, had shingles in my back n buggered my nerves up. id happily swap that xc50, xc60 ti or xc80.
