Dealing with reluctant measurers..

If you can find a geometry table for it, that will make guessing a lot easier.

My first port of call, of course, is a search for geometry information from t'internet. The issue, hence the thread, is getting recalcitrant calculators to impart accurate descriptions of their wares. (They still haven't, as it goes, but I happen to be visiting in that neighbourhood today and have arranged to swing a leg over it.) I reckon Historyman wins the sweeties. What sweeties? I guess HM wins the bike, but it wayyy too small for him!
 
Well, it turned out to be someone my height/limb length, but liked the saddle up them..
The geometry charts I have found are a little off, but the head tube is handily well spaced in 2cm increments, so it is easy to see 150mm.
C-T seat tube is around 21.5 inch, and the standover bears no relation to the geometry chart, near two cm over what that says. Geometry charts are all well and good, but they are often out in various ways.
