Today's Ride

HONC yesterday. A thoroughly excellent 75k in amazing weather. Ironic that for the last 2 days, summer finally arrived just as autumn starts. Still, we'll take it after a rotten July and August.

It was a pleasure taking in some different riding conditions, a little easier on the legs with <gasp> flat sections! Still, there was plenty of elevation to keep me grounded 🤣

Blimey - yesterday’s Today’s Ride…

I mentioned with some surprise that I intuitively was running the new Magic Mary in the front at 14 Psi but then I found this:

https://www.vulyplay.com/en-AU/blog/mountain-bike-tire-pressure-how-many-psi-is-needed
Which suggests my intuition was right. I’d been running around 20 before…and this is a big and positive change….

Roll back the clock to mtb racing in 90s … check Onza 2.1s or Ground Controls are up to 35 psi - all good… let’s go …
