They're good value too and always do well in the reviews.

My trip to the Peaks the other week reminded me why I don't do expensive pedals; low bottom bracket and rocks equal pedal strikes no matter how hard you try.

Also.........looks like I'll be purchasing a pair of Superstar Nano's to replace the V8's.

I'm fairly confident that this is how i'd build an ARC. Its going to look awesome. May even tempt me back into a hardtail?

Shims

3 weeks later and I've finally got hold of the two stupid little plastic shims that have delayed the build! In the end I had to buy a NOS front mech from Merlin Cycles just to pinch the two shims!
