Wanted Yamaha LS-500 acoustic guitar

Long shot, but anyone have one of these they’d part with by any chance?

I had a look online and it certainly looks like a lovely guitar. I had a (cheap) triple o with a deeper body and it sounded very balanced.

I missed out on an LS-400 today; much the same but with mahogany back and sides. After spending half the day sorting out finances, the seller decided he wanted to keep it! But the 500 is the one I really want, with its wonderful overtones.
These custom shop Yam’s are really special I think. Listen to this poor recording of an LS-500 -

The depth of tone on that is incredible. I saw one that had been on reverb for a thousand, which seems like a bargain for such a guitar.

I did briefly try a Martin hd 28 once, I think it was. Which had this incredible piano like touch and thick tone, but this is up there.

Jan, I’ve been listening to clips of other potential secondhand guitars for around a grand. This Larrivee is nice …and the guy’s improvised playing is quite tasteful. Thought you might like it..?

I love Larrivee. I had a l02 on my list for ages. They have a very distinctive voice.
