XTR M952 chainring rot

Is there anything that can be done to prevent or slow it down?
A nice thick layer of anodising, then paint, with corrosion inhibitor on top (LPS3). Then keep it away from things that will damage the coatings (chains!) and electrolytes (sweat and road salt) and cow and sheep shit.

In reality keeping it washed & lubed is about all you can do.

I keep my m950 chainsets in the freezer when not in use.
Low temperature tends to inhibit Chemical reactions🤣

My solution to avoiding the rot which I never new existed is to only fit m95x cranks to garage queens. This way they never get exposed to anything that can harm them.

Just wondering if this happens to the 110bcd rings too, or exclusive to the integrated spider versions.
