XTR M900 rear mech setup issue

I just glanced back thru and noticed the post where you talk about the spring adjustment screw. Do you have the spring adjustment turned to match the dot and the arrow? If not turn it clockwise and try it again.

If that is done and the thing still isn't working, then it must be bent and binding. :oops:

I'm NOT drinking Pinot Noir right now, so maybe I'm not as stoopid as yesterday! :LOL:
 
Position of the innerwire under anchor bolt.... Much has been written about this in the past also. Do you run the cable in a straight line under the cable anchor bolt or do you tend to draw it around the anchor bolt towards you as you tighten the bolt. It can have some effect if pulled around the bolt.

nope, i believe fairly straight. swapped with another M900 and all is good. i'm quite sure something is wrong with the mech. :(
