Using the "dirty tricks and cunning stunts " DVD got most of the bits jus need help on the frame

He rode one with rigid forks and one with head shock

Would like info on either pls

Thanks in advance

I'm almost 100% sure on this as I was mad keen on trials in the late 90's and watched chainspotting about a billion times with my mate along the road. Up until 1998/9 Maryn Ashton rode a red Cannondale frame, as far as I'm aware it was a specially built F500, F800 or F1000 in small (I'm not sure which) that was not made available to the public. The blue frameset was released in 1999 and cost about £600. I've just scoured my 1998 MBUK's and can't find a red frameset for sale. If you've been offered one or have see one for sale then snap it up as I'm positive they were never on general sale and it'll be one of the bikes he rode.

Hope this helps.

Loooooong time ago! But here's my red F500!

Il second that is was a beast of the east, a lad in the local village had one, I was and still am now a bit jealous lol

the beast of the east had a really high bottom bracket making it perfect for trails.
I used to have one and it was a strange bike to ride normally

Now i'm awake i've been looking for an answer.

The only BoTE's I could think of were the old ones with the short chainstays and dropouts sticking out behind, didn't realise they carried on BoTE later, so.. 'F' series type frame but with higher BB gives you something along the lines of the M800
