Pick your spots. There's plenty of roads away from prying eyes with minimal to no traffic that you can speed on with minimal chance of getting caught. You have to accept the fact that there's consequences if you do get pinched
before you press the accelerator/twist the throttle, that's all. I'd hazard a guess that very few of the road tests EVO does are on closed roads. They know what roads to use and when to use them.

Like many, I love fast cars as well as retro bikes. I have stared the Reaper in the eyes at the Ring, when somebody had a bad off one corner ahead, so even a track is not safe let alone public roads. When you have kids and reach a certain age its not fun anymore.
Always wanted my own London bike shop as I managed a chain of 6 in London bitd. As anybody who has had that T shirt knows, it can almost put you off cycling dealing with all the issues. The only way to make real money is to be an importer/distributor of your own brand of bikes and components. You need serious investment to do this but the margins are worth it. Too many bikes shops just break even. Shop mechanics get paid almost the min wage, customers need their bikes back asap which means working overtime and they won't pay decent money for repairs. Too much competition from people who do it for the love of it means everybody looses in the race to the bottom. A top quality fast working mechanic is a rare thing in itself and they always get poached by a major team or a bigger rival. I have an idea for a cool twist on the bike shop by mixing it with a compatible business and coffee shop but property just gives a better return for all the hastle. The quality laydeez are a wonderful perk of the bike business though
