Will this SRAM groupset work with a shimano freehub?

My reading of the description here is that this cassette will work with a shimano freehub:

My understanding is same without reading the link. NX is Shimano fitting and GX and above isn’t.

One thing I would say is that my GX eagle cassette on my winter hardtail is heavy so I’d assume this is. I wouldn’t buy another and would look for maybe a xo1 or XT etc.

I have the SRAM GX 11 spd on another bike and it's been a solid performer. Not exactly light as you say, but I can't see an equivalent groupset for around £120.
