Will heating a Reynolds 653 frame to remove a stuck seatpost

hi,
personally i would try most of these methods in order[inc from previous post's; solution of transmission fluid and upvc solvent/acetone overnite.]
it makes sense to try out
the least damage to post and frame first.that hacksaw blade holder/tool has got to be cheap and
widely available also.
