why no 95/96 kona catalogues?

The intention is to put the user submitted stuff from the mag scan section into the archive. As ever there simply isn't enough time. that said if you've added something to the mag scan section you'd like including in the archive drop me a PM.

Hey, no knocking Konaretro! We should all be grateful to Stewart Pratt for establishing that site and for keeping it on line, even though he no longer has the time to develop it any further. I think John will confirm that the Kona catalogue material on here was copied from Konaretro with Stewart's approval, he was the one who first collected it.

As far as the original question is concerned, the 95 and 96 catalogues aren't online because they're in a poster format that is difficult to scan into 'pages'. There was also the ring-bound booklet shown above for 1996 (and maybe 95, but I haven't seen one) that is also difficult to scan because the rings get in the way, and the photos are very small and not very clear anyway.

The other years are the original brochure for 88/89 that Kona Paul has put a copy of somewhere on here and the excellent US brochure for 1993 that is in Mr Zero's gallery. Later years are on klassickona.com.

Yup, as per the brief note in the archive all the kona catalogue scans have come from kona retro. Cheers konaretro :D

I have the 95 catalog which is in book form, but it's an odd size (large) and difficult to scan easily. I did start doing it but after an hour I was only a quarter of the way through on the work scanner so I put it aside for a rainy day. Its still on my "to do" list, but if there is anything specific you want from it let me know - I've done a few pages in the past for people.

i've got the ringbound 96 catalogue. i was gonna scan it at some point when i get round to it...

Slightly off topic, but there are some small differences between the ring bound and poster versions of the 96 catalog. I'm sure that will be of interest to some.
