Going out with some new school bikers tomorrow on a dh only morning - uplift by 4x4!! They'll all be clad in body armour and 9 inch travel and i'll be feeling over sprung on my new 4 inch commencal with a smattering of lycra for protection! They are all trail centre hero's so I'm showing them some of the natural North East Wales downhills - I'm hoping local knowledge make me look better than I really am!

Sunday, hope to get my first ride on my newly built and sorted 97 hei hei.

Resting up with a cracked hip and patella, and other assorted damage, from last weekend...

Think I've done the last of my riding for 2008. Not a bad thing, on top of the medical bills, need to find cash for a new helmet (smashed my old Giro Supermoto), new front wheel, and repairs to a cracked seatstay.

Things could be worse though. My amazing wife has been looking after me, got a break for xmas/new year coming up, weather should be good for my rehab in the pool, and have mates flying back in from the US and UK that I haven't seen in ages
