Re:

The good guys are the Palestinians. If white Americans declared themselves "the real anglo-saxons" and preceded to colonise and ethnically cleanse England I imagine you'd be rather displeased. So I don't see why central and eastern Europeans get to do it in the middle east.

Disturbing, seeing those who get the shit end of apartheid be called "no worse" than those responsible.

Just to address that Bats, I originally wrote quite a bit more on that topic and pretty much echoed your sentiments about how people in the UK might feel if another group of people laid claim to it and set up a nation state within its borders and I agree that the Palestinian people have a legitimate grievance. However, regardless of whether you think the state of Israel should have been allowed to be created in its current form and location, it now does and both sides have committed some very dubious acts throughout the ensuing conflict.

I'm honestly totally beyond caring if any Palestinians have done anything particularly impolite when it comes to war, considering their situation and the massive disparity in power between them and the occupying entity.

I'd love peace there - step one is going to have to be making israel completely impotent, like what happened to South Africa. Funny how Israel and South Africa used to be best mates back in the day...

Yet another car crash from the woman who wants to be home secretary in three days time. Murnaghan gently but persistently ripping the piss out of her for not knowing wtf she's talking about.

May's far from perfect and the Tory campaign has been diabolical but the alternative is truly frightening.

May is crap, and her policies are truly frightening - but I will agree on one thing - Abbott is appalling and needs to go - now.

I wonder wtf is going on with Abbott. Stand down woman, have another migraine or something.

Re:

The thing is if you vote Tory you get May, as the boss, as the supreme leader. That's a very scary thought.

If Labour get in Abbott might not get a job, no matter how much Techno bleats on. I'd suggest her performance over the last few weeks probably means she wont.

Hmm, because there's such a deep talent pool to choose from...

If there was anyone better (who'd work for Corbyn) they would be in place now. That's the reason you have Abbott, Thornberry, Rayner and McDonnell. They're the only ones who agree with Corbyn's prospectus. Ability has nothing to do with it. Remember the vote of no confidence? I don't think many of them will have changed their minds, they're being very conspicuous by their absence. Nobody has Jezza on their campaign materials. Toxic.

And as for May, well I suspect she won't actually be around for long. The Tories don't tolerate crap leaders.
