Who uses GPS?

Ditto. My friend in Seattle sometimes sends me a link to the weekend's ride with route and speed details etc. It would be hard to achieve the same in an email.

I use GPS constantly at work (navigating ships) but ashore I have not used it. A Dutch colleague of mine said:

"Do you remember before mobiles you could dial perhaps 100 telephone numbers off the top of your head. Now you can only rmember 10.
If you have a good sense of direction and trust your 'instinct' are you not concerned that GPS in the car or bike will do the same?"

I think he has a point, I shall continue to use 'the force' but for those who cannot always roughly find their way it is invaluable.
