This could be considered cheeky (I have never really got my head round the look of a e-stay) but is there not a very good reason that very few of these manufacturers (if any) still produce them.

I know the argument that fashions change and e-stays got left behind, but if it was an improvement in mt bike design, would we not see more of them now?

Do people just like them for the look?

Good point, why did the design fall? Too flex? Gazz theres a specific reason for looking into this that Velo knows.
