Well toaster has a point, as you have included one of the Internationally best known and most well respected bespoke frame builders in the UK, with a couple of long established mtb makers, and two corporate owned 'brand' names; none of which are a direct equivalent to Fat.

That said, Roberts are and always have been hand made in the UK, Orange in the very early days were too, as were Dawes into the 90's and Saracen (although not necessarily in the UK). Pace are different, as has been said, as they work in aluminium. Still, they always used to make them by hand as far as I am aware.

Not sure you know enough about u.k frame builders to add anything useful to this thread. Thanks anyway.

aren't you just the funniest

Actually I would love to hear your Opinion on say....."The D.O.G.S B.O.L.O.X".

What and why was it and still remains one of the most sought after handbuilt frames from its inception till present day.....?

Nearly 25 years of one model....., still going strong, still taking orders, and they still have an order book with waiting list.

With Respect here I love Fat Chance, I love American Bikes.....But are "Fat Chance" still producing bikes....?

or have they ceased Trading ...?
