Who else is fed up with EBay fees and withholding payments?

Good work, it looks like quite a professional site. As with Facebook or Gumtree, your site will rely on trust, so hopefully buyers are wary of how they choose to part with their money.

At this time I've not got the time to spread the items I sell across any more selling platforms already available, so tend to stick to here and eBay, and occasionally Facebook.
The key with eBay is that the more you use it the less penalised you are. 70-80% off fee promotions run fairly regularly, so that really takes the sting out of the fee applied, but still allows you a global audience if you choose it. And money release improves with your use - I typically get paid the day after the seller has paid, and that allows me a couple of days after receiving funds to get the items posted (you choose your postage timescale, so you can ensure you have funds for postages costs before you are obliged to post the item if needed).

Great idea in theory and would be all for it but you are in no way covered like you are on Ebay or even here.
Sometimes when dealing with selling bike parts its well worth the fees knowing Ebay has your back in case of any funny business and you at least have feedback as an indicator of whether a seller/buyer is legit.

With sites like FB marketplace its nothing but scammers and timewasters.
I already recognise one on from the stuff being sold on your site, goodluck honestly hope it works out for you from a selling standpoint at least but think you'll find it will just turn into more ballache than its worth.
That is very true, but you just need to use your common sense. I have been scammed on Ebay and through Paypal. But never been scammed when sold things direct.
People have bought and sold things long before Ebay/Paypal came along.
Im pretty sure everyone has bought and sold a car before away from online auction sites and digital payments.

A car is a big purchase. People take their time to go view and do a deal. Second biggest purchase to a house so hardly comparable.

Before eBay I’m sure all the small items we are referring to ended up in a drawer or car boot. Nobody really advertised spare parts in classifieds that much.

Take some STX RC shifters at £20 they just want to click a button and have them arrive (and know if they don’t arrive they are covered). Unless you are going to offer that reassurance then you are offering the same as Facebook marketplace but with less traffic.

The idea is there and site lucks good but unlikely to change the way items are sold in our world

Stop using Ebay for sales altogether. I started using Facebook Marketplace and Iv'e had great results. And it's free.

I've sold a few things recently on Ebay and their fees and payment withholding is just a joke now.
In fact it infuriated me so much I wished there was another place to be able to buy and sell parts, so I built a website to do just that.

I have listed some of my bits on there and have a whole load more to go on.

If you want to take a look or put some bits on there, then fill your boots. It's all free. No charges taken. Just list your bits.

All fully searchable aswell to make it easier to find items. I will be adding to the database of brands etc as it grows.

Thanks
eBay withholding payments for 2 weeks - good feedback and all ok, then after 10 sales they’re now withholding for 1 month! Fuckers are beyond a joke - won’t even release payment for the postage !!!
Say If someone Is in dire need and needs the money then eBay will be a big fail for them unless they’ve been selling for a long while

Very very nice site - looks really good - well laid out and easy to navigate !
Saved it and will register

I dont get why they are doing it or why they have changed how it works. It may just me getting old lol

But I wont be using them anymore to sell anything and will only buy from them if I have to.

Just sold a fork on ebay for $280 + $15 shipping, that's a total of $295.
What appears in my account? $225.🤕
Thieving bastards
But they’re continue to be used cos of popularity and ‘seller and buyer protection‘ which admittedly they’re quite good at
