Pace RC35's work well and always got good reviews bitd. Original Judy's were thought to have moved the game on though. If I were you I'd look at any 1993/94 forks from Rockshox, Pace, or Manitou and decide which you like the look of the most.
I'm on the fence. I was a Rock Shox hound, loved the look of the Mag21 SL Ti, but I also liked the nice hard lines of the Manitou's, and the EFC had the colour scheme that made me drool..

Look in the Archive for the 1994 model fork reviews and decide what you want out of a fork. If you like them to be more reactive to the ground constantly then get some pace/manitou for possibly. If you like them to firmer and take the harder hits then get MAG21/30's of the 1994+ models.
If you don't mind dipping in to 1995+ year then JUDY are a good choice simple choice and a little later the Marzocchi bomber in 1997
But it really is down to what you like and what will go with the bike.
