It would either be Nick Craigs Diamond Back, or Henrik Djernis Pro-Flex 856.
I would like that Proflex 856 too just to see what Henrik was bitching about.

had a go on dave bakers dynatech round the margam park course many moons ago, was superbly setup, wouldnt let me keep it tho, had to settle for a speced up dune dancer off mickey morrison, tight twat. my old man bought me a pace rc100 instead (spoilt git i was). still got it an all.

Ned Overend's Specialized Stumpjumper Epic Ultimate

Thanks to Arcangel for the pic of his bike, closest to Ned's I can find on the web!

This bike was on my wall, and my school folders while I did my GCSE's.

Later, as time passed I got into Dyna Tech's and remember in 1992/3 meeting Paul Hinton at a race at Cricket St Thomas (near Chard in Somerset) and being wowed by his Team issue D-T. I then got a D-T of my own.

These are the 1st and last team issue bikes that wowed me as I went to sea in 1995 and lost touch with what was happening in the sport, and now I am here.

If there's one thing I'm a sucker for...its Pro's bikes.

I've done several 'replicas' over the years. They make for great projects.

I'd love one of JT's actual Merlin built Raleighs...

But I settled for a replica Litespeed version. It actually rides as nice as the hype they gave it.
