I'm building up a mid 80s Woodrup 531 SL frame, I have acquired some bits for this job going back many years but never got around to taking it on, but now I have the time so I'm going to get a few last bits and sort it out.
I very much like the old Engers period time trial machines before they went all aero noddies, where they were just lightweight versions of a standard road bike or even a purpose built track frame style with a few gears.
What saddle would suit this job without it weighing a ton? I'm not going for absolutely strict period correct as Woodrup can't 100% date the frame (records lost) but they reckon 85/86 but something from around that time that will look right will be close enough, also something that isn't unobtanium or costs more than the bike would be great
