Where have all the nice 26” SS frames gone?

Over the last few years I’ve been (unsuccessfully) placing wanted ads trying to find a really nice quality small steel or Ti singlespeed, 26er, non disc, non suspension frame. So here, Farcebook, Singletrack (when the site worked), etc. I’m sure there must be plenty of peeps who’ve moved on to 29 or suspension or disc so in theory there must be loads tucked away. Where else can I look / advertise...?

I suspect that they are the sort of frame that very discerning and independent-minded people buy. They are the sort who aren't swayed much by fashion and so are probably not selling.

It took me a couple of years just to find a Kona Kaboom in the right size - and I would say that they are relatively common (I understand that Kona imported 800 or so to the UK over the years).
