When is a bike a gravel bike? Or not…

Riding???
What’s that??…..
apparantly these Gravel 🤢 things were made to sit upon the rear most perch with ones hands upon the front most perch and with ones feet upon the lower perches propel ones self towards the horizon.

Seems to me that this is somewhat absurd and quite frankly dangerous. no no, I shall continue to use these velocipedes as the good lord intended, to hold my breaches and pantaloons away from the floor whilst the settle for the morrow.

oh crap, I think I've just invented another subset of cycling..........

Im confused too.....

Can you have gravel bike with flat bars? Or is that a hybrid or possibly an 80s all terrain bike (atb) ?

If you can......can't we clain we invented thegravel bike in 197?... with a trackie.....

Below....gravel bike from 1879....its even got those narrow knobblies and shonky 700c (sorry 29er) wheels.

Apparently not. Flat bars = not-gravel.
My head hurts.

So a gravel bike is a 29er....sorry 700c-er?

So all our old rigid mtbs are actually kids (26") gravel bikes?

do we need to apply to have the site name / categories changed?

Ie...."readers gravel bikes for the under 12s <97" section.

I'm not sure what this is called any more!
