Start up costs, hmm: 1 big party involving wine, a bunch of old inner tubes and a pack of washers.

The thing is whoever put them in took some time to fit them, they had all the correct plastic spacers in with holes carved out for the location lugs.....

Hmm, the idea seems good to me, corks inside a section of old inner tube maybe with penny washers top and bottom. I may try it on some old forks of mine.

That sounds like a cheap excuse to lay into a half-dozen bottles to me. Do let me know if you need any assistance at all

I'm thinking two white for small bump sensitivity, three red for control in the mid-stroke and a Port for progression and catching the big-hits/landings.

I'm a heathen ! wine is the wife's tipple ! beer only ! I thought the rose cork would be compromise between the hard red and soft white, how about Croft Original Pale Cream Sherry corks ?

Sherry corks would strictly be the preserve of shaven-legged XC heroes I think...
