I have a few faves, HUGI's for the noise & no doubt build quality.

Ringle super 8 & super Bubba for looks (in the right colour)

My red Hope ti & fatso - cos there mine.

Lastly, anyone seen a Hershey 'n*ked' before?

You can't fault XT hubs, fitted with harder races, cones & bearings, than lower groups, if looked after they should go on forever, my XT's have been re-greased & stripped so many times in my maintainance classes, its unreal. They should never wear.

I've got one of the Hershey Naked Racing hubs in Gold, will be listing it for sale soon.

In order of preference...

Middleburn
Hope Ti Glide
White Industries
Nuke Proof
Ringle

Notice Shimano is missing from the list!

Currently loving shimano xtr m900, but I have a Pulstar front hub that looks lovely, I'd love a matching rear if anyone has one.

m 730 for me.....simple, bombproof, minimalist and serviceable.....i have had one set for 20 years and they still look and perform like new......

Shimano Exage 500.

Bombproof, and I'm pretty sure they'll also withstand anything a belt-fed machine gun can throw at them.
Mine have survived 19 years of heavy abuse so far, with minimal maintenance. They look and feel like new. Gotta love the old low-end stuff.

Why o why has no-one else said Royce Engineering??

Their ultimate hubs - Racing Gold Disc Hubs - £1150 a pair.

Description on site:

"The body of the hub is manufactured from a single billet of Titanium, the benefit of this being the flanges can take equal stress when breaking forces are applied.
All machining marks are removed and a deep lustre is hand polished to the outside of the shell. To retain this surface finish a Titanium Nitride coating is applied to give a superb, extremely hard wearing gold finish.
Campag or Shimano compatible
Spindle Length for drop out width of: 135, 140, 145, 150, 160mm
All patterns of Lacing is acceptable.
Drillings: To your instructions subject to consultation with Royce UK

For me its gotta be the GT branded Hadley ones. They spin forever, sound freaking fantastic and never had a single issue.
