I have a few faves, HUGI's for the noise & no doubt build quality.

Ringle super 8 & super Bubba for looks (in the right colour)

My red Hope ti & fatso - cos there mine.

Lastly, anyone seen a Hershey 'n*ked' before?

You can't fault XT hubs, fitted with harder races, cones & bearings, than lower groups, if looked after they should go on forever, my XT's have been re-greased & stripped so many times in my maintainance classes, its unreal. They should never wear.

m 730 for me.....simple, bombproof, minimalist and serviceable.....i have had one set for 20 years and they still look and perform like new......

Shimano Exage 500.

Bombproof, and I'm pretty sure they'll also withstand anything a belt-fed machine gun can throw at them.
Mine have survived 19 years of heavy abuse so far, with minimal maintenance. They look and feel like new. Gotta love the old low-end stuff.

For me its gotta be the GT branded Hadley ones. They spin forever, sound freaking fantastic and never had a single issue.
