The 1995 Orange E3 build I'm working on originally came with Grip-Shift X-Ray shifters and the corresponding shortened grip-shift grips... However... I'm fitting XT STI units to keep the groupset as XT as possible but what were the full length grips of choice in 1995... ?

Thanks in advance...

Onza Ules for me. Which is handy 'cos you can still buy them:

Prefer black myself though.
And a bargain at only £3.99... They'd have some empathy with the Onza bar-ends I'm using as well... :D

Ule's are good, but I prefered the ATI John Tomac's. They are clear and have a bit more cushion and when they age they get nice and sticky. And I've seen some float about on here as well.

Enjoy!!

I think I had Fred Salmon Fish Grips and Onza Porci Paws around then. A couple of years later WTB dual compounds became my grip of choice but I think they might be a bit late for '95.

In 95 I was running Renthal PWC grips (diamond pattern - medium compound) on my bikes. Still run them on the Foes
