First Bike

It was a Kona AA, nice bike but rubbish Marzocchi forks. I did an insurance job on it & put the money toward a Pace. Bad man, though it was a long time ago....and I do still feel guilty.

Went straight from a halfords Carerra Krakatoa (not really a proper mtb) to a 1992 Kona Explosif! Big jump I know.

Specialized Rock hopper (bought it in 1989).

I had the choice of this and a Tushingham, wished I picked the Tushingham because my dad has an almost brand new rock hopper in his garage!

Falcon Stealth!

I'd never heard of it either. I rode it until the SIS gears rusted and the frame rattled.

(edit: note it's not in my list of bikes in the sig! wonder why..)

Ridgeback 602GS bought new in 94 or 95. Still got it, still use it. Original apart from bars & seat.
