What vintage GT is this

Non standard mech hanger so either a Pantera or an early Zaskar where the integral hanger has broken off.

Serial number will tell you or a 6061 stamp.

That's Yeti's nice.
Is that reflection on the seatstays or are they a really weird shape?!

Yes , they are shaped that way, maybe to flex ?

I have one more bike but that's reserved for ski lift adventures

As much as I like this bike , I couldn't be arsed stripping and polishing it, especially since this blue paintjob is perfect , seems like its been powder coated , I'm just going to get a matching mavic sup rim for the front and that's it!

The drivetrain seems ok , it's 7 speed , and the cranks are m730 is that LX ? , the brakes / shifters are one piece LX, might look into a better rear deraileur and front

Thanks for the info guys , didn't realise it was that old , one of the first of the zaskars

Crank is XT, quiet sought after piece. But non drive side arm doesn't look like M730 though. I own couple of Zaskars and I concur they ride very nice, stiff as hell. Enjoy the ride, I don't use them too often now as legendary Zaskar stiffness cause back and neck ache in my case.

yeah the non drive crank arm is not original but thats how i got the bike!

i put the v-brakes on and realized there is a problem , do centre pull levers have a different pull ratio v-brake levers ? great ! what do i do now , the shifter and lever is integrated so i can slap on the disc brake i have , and i cant put the cantis back on cause this fork has not centre holder thingy , any suggestions , any adapters that can make it work?

also im thinking of getting some zaskar decals , without changing the frame color , which are closest to this model ?

this would suit ?
