looks like an early zaskar or possibly pantera

check inside the dropouts for a frame number. zaskars have the frame number on the dropout

i'll have to check in the morning , what am i looking for , the serial number?

wow is it that old 92?? how can you tell?

feels like a really stiff frame too , ive ridden other bikes and this thing rockets forward with each pedal stroke.

On bottom of left drop out you should have serial number stamped. For example

07951234

The 07 means July, the 95 is 1995 and the rest is the serial number.
Inside of drop outs see if you have 6061 stamped.

Yep that's why people love zaskars,s but I'm betting it's a pantera no bad thing tho lovely bike you have there whatever it is

Yeah it's good to see the old zaskar pantera whatever it is kickin ass still from 92, had a look in the dark with my phone light , the number starts with 0892 or it could be a 03, hopefully I can put these v-brakes on there , also I think I need to find some "posts" to mount them on, this fork had disc brakes before.

Btw this is my other bike , the gt I mainly use as a spare when friends want to join in our regular ride day.

.

We're a sad bunch..><

it's all in the details
U brake means its 92 or older
alloy frame means its 91 or later
Flat end cap suggest a Pantera or Zaskar With the 2 above (IIRC they were the only 2 alloy GTs in 91 /92)
