So I ve been hiding under a rock for many years last time I looked it was all square taper un72 etc
Things have moved an now there are many types
What type of tool do I need to remove this ( the tool in the photo is too small )
Tough to tell from the pic but if it's an outboard BB such as a Shimano ht2 then you'd need an appropriate tool for that. Bb386 and 30mm bbs need a larger tool, some proprietary. Some new ht2 bbs are also smaller cups and need yet another tool. Possibly road versions, not sure MTB ones have shrunk or not (I bought one by mistake).
It won't go over the axle an also seems too small
The one in the link Above says it doesn't fit shimano
I m assuming mine is shimano it's from approx year 2000
I better measure it an get back to you
I must admit I thought it looked very truvativ howitzer as well. As mentioned, they are a pretty proprietary BB that I think o lt worked with the howitzer crank. What crank arms were fitted?
