What the hell is this frame....please?

Hi, picked this bike up because it had some nice bits and pieces on it and felt a quality frame, but have no idea what it is, possibly had a respray at some point and don't think the sticker has anything to do with the bike, could easily be wrong. Identification and rough value please.

Those head tube gussets make it look like one of the off- the- shelf alloy frames from the days of DJ, 96,97?
Most wholesalers offered something

It's not steel though, Aluminium with decent welding

Alloy in bike frames is aluminium alloy.
Azonic, dmr and others sold a lot of steel dj frames - aluminium offered lower price and weight.
Many wholesalers offered an aluminium frame, usually short with head tube gussets, at this time, in a plain colour, unbranded.
