What projects are you working on?

My projects

Hello!

I have three projects on the go at the moment:

A 1988 Kona Explosif, waiting for its wheels to be rebuilt on some DX hubs, and a NOS seatpost and saddle

A 1990 Explosif waiting for a respray, Suntour XC Comp wheels (I have all but given up on finding a Track Two fork - boo hoo).

A 1992 Explosif Pro with Future Shock fork, waiting for a respray and Suntour XC Pro wheels.

Several bikes in various states of completion - photos abound when they are finished!

scant,

set of purple ringle cam twists on the bay

Fella was selling three pairs of cam twists. All went for around £25. Missed out on the red pair by £1

I'd have said that was about 'right' (as in more than they're probably worth but about what you'd expect on ebay). Although a blue pair went through the week before for £7 - seller had spelt Ringle wrong :?

Adam, get some pics up :D

scant,

those are not the skewers i saw on us ebay.

auction must have ended before i posted i guess.

gaf16, ah fair enuff. bummer I missed that 1. how much u reckon I should offer my mate for his purple criticals?

Jeeeeez £120 for those mavic wishbones  . That is STRONG. Who said the arse was falling out the retro market.

Would've snapped up those ringle for £7. Only saw the auction when it had finished.

when worn out white onza porcs still make over £60 a pair, u can be sure the retro market is still alive & kickin ;)

the funniest part of the mavic shifters story is the remaining box load of shifters being chucked, @ that price some1 binned a grands worth ;D LOL

Pet project, Guess?

My pet project at the mo is this little baby, Alu E-stay, some rare early alpinestars forks (a weird threaded/ahead affair, was told off ti-mega), onza cantis, x-lite post with bonty saddle, M651 front mech, SS5 mkII levers, an original king 1-1/4 aheadset, Atac stem, answer bars and a load of red bits.
STOP PRESS just got some nice hope tit hubs NOS which I can build my sunCR17 red anno rims on :D
taking my time with her using some nice old bits , should look cool when finished.
I do have a good idea of what the frame is but I'll let you guys have a guess for a while ;)

E-stays...mmmm......nice!

I don't think it's a Funk, Alpinestars or Bigfoot. Struggling to remember other builders who did alu e-stay bikes.
