I almost started collecting retro consoles

I have a boxed NES with 2 controllers, gun and mario/duck hunt
a Megadrive
a Commodore Amiga 1200 with a 120mb hard disk
a ZX Spectrum+

I stopped at that and the latter two are actually my own bought from new.

my console collection has just been boxed up and silica gel'd due to losing our spare room to a nursery.

8 stacker boxes, 2 hard carry cases (and i sold the wii and haven't got around to boxing the mk1 xbox & games yet)

current total is.......
1 x master system I, 2 light guns, 4 pads, 36 games
2 x mega drive I, 8 pads, 18 games
1 x dreamcast, 2 pads, 1 gun, 11 games, 1 VMU
1 x NES, 2 light guns, 6 pads, game case, 8 games
1 x SNES, official hard case, 7 pads, 12 games, 4-way controller port (epic for 4 player superbomber man nights with the lads!)
2 x N64, 5 pads, 31 games, official carry bag
1 x gamecube, 4 pads, 15 games
1 x ps1, 2 pads, 23 games
1 x ps2, 2 pads, 17 games
1 x xbox, 2 pads, 9 games
1 x amiga 500  loads of disks, most are knackered!

got some other stuff in there too - game gear, DSlite, a couple of tv based game things (atari classics, mega drive classics, tetris).

I really want a saturn & a mega CD to complete the sega side of things, other than that i'm happy to stay wii & ps3-less until they are both old-tec as they don't do anything the 360 & kinect can't!

I'm not a watch 'collector' but have a couple of nice ones including a 60s Jaeger LeCoultre which I enjoy for the 'micro engineering'.
Again, not an avid collector but there's a bit of vintage fishing tackle - Meek, Allcock Aerial etc (but no Hardy -too expensive and ostentatious!)
My main thing is Hi Fi, though I'm not sure if it counts as retro? - Pathos Twin Towers amp from the mid '90s, and Alon Lotus Elite signature speakers; my pride and joy!
Other than that, several Singer sewing machines, a bit of Arts and Crafts furniture etc. ..and marbles!

Cameras, they're for using though.

I'm also building up a collection of retro furniture, so far I've got some Ray Eames, I.B Kofod Larsen and Hans Olsen pieces. Side board, dining table and chairs, coffee tables and nest of tables. Well OK, not really a collection, I'm just furnishing my house with old sh*te

2 91 750 gsxr's, 1 with an 1100 motor
if i had the space & time i'd have more, love me oilcooled suzi's!!!
all my old early 90's vinyl, loads of multi coloured records

me, i'm quite retro

:P

I've got a few old Canon cameras- an AE1 and the lovely F1 and a couple of early 1990's motorbikes Cagiva Mito Ev 125 and Triumph Trident 900. I'd have a 1990's Laverda 750S too if I had room/ money.
Also old workwork tools especially Record stuff, as I make a lot of my own furniture and they are a real joy to work with, especially their 020c compass plane.

I have got some games and consoles.

An original Playstation 1 (the big version with all the extra ports in the back) with about 150 games.

A SNES with about 10 games (including boxed Secret of Mana and Secret of Evermore - both mint and complete).

My main collection though is Acorn computers.

I've got several Electrons (issue 1 to issue 6) with all but 2 of the hardware add-ons and 95% of the software available.

A BBC B with 6502 Second processor and disc drive (mainly to play Elite).

A Master 128, 512, ET (a network version using the Econet) and hoping to get a Doomsday and a Scientific!

Also got several A3000s, 3010s and 3020s.

Takes me back to my previously failed career as a primary school teacher. I wasted far too many hours of my life drawing up rotas so that each kid could get half an hour on the computer putting an elephant on a trailer [It taught them to use up, down, left and right keys]!
