What mountain bikes did you own BITD?

These are the ones I don't have anymore:

1994 Rockhopper with an SR Duotrac
1995 Stumpjumper FSR
1995 S-Works FSR
1998 FSR Extreme

Can't recall years on the rest...
Kona scab
Nashbar Reynolds 853 (so sorry I sold this...)
Cove G-Spot
Banshee Chaparral
Turner 5-spot
Titus Racer-X Carbon
Planet-X Compo
Santa Cruz VPfree
~1999 KHS Team
Carrera Banshee

I've heard good things about the Nashbar 853 frames - not sure who made them.

1990 - Muddy Fox Courier (went all over on it when I should have been revising for my GCSEs)
1992 - Gary Fisher E-stay Montare (climbed really well, miles ahead of it's time)
1993 - Orange Prestige (bought from an ex Team Orange racer, still got the frame somewhere)
1996 - Pace RC200 (was still my main xc bike until recently)
1999 - Orange Mr O (did a few seasons of NAMBS DH races on it, it was overkill for anything else!)

My interest started around 87/8 when a local lad got a Raleigh Mustang and we all marvelled at it's ability to climb the hill in the park! it was a couple of years before I saved up enough to get my own but I remember wanting a terrible Apollo Blizzard because I liked the colour, then some sort of Peugeot (Lazer 15 possibly, or the pink and black one?), again because the colours were ace before actually buying a Saracen Tufftrax. My list is:

1989 Saracen Tufftrax.
1989 Orange Clockwork (second hand in 92).
1999 GT XCR4000. Terrible thing.
2005 Orange Evo 4.
2006 Orange 5.
2009 Orange 5.
2013 Orange 5 29.
2016 Orange Segment.
2020 Orange Stage 5.

These have been my main bike at the time but I've also had/have a couple of gravel bikes, 2015 Orange P7, probably 4 or 5 2007 Orange Clockwork's, an On One Whippet and am just about to finish a Pace RC627. Obviously had about 50 million retro's since I joined this site as well!!

Usual cheap thing made from a gate, the size of a gate 'cause I'll grow into it'.... Crashed that, bought a 2nd hand Raleigh with some nice bits on it. Rest was inevitable!

1_ garage made cruiser w/ bmx cranks and 6 sp cluster.
2- gt tequesta
3- trek 8700
4- khs pro
5- mikkelsen custom
6- litespeed obed
7- ibis mojo
8- fat chance wicked

1992 MBK Adventure (stolen after a couple of months)
1993 Diamond Back Topanga (stolen and returned twice, was always too big so swapped the frame for >)
1992 Giant Granite (PX'd frame for >)
1993 Orange Prestige (sold to a mate to help fund >)
1996 Santa Cruz Tazmon (stolen, this still stings when I think about it now, 25 years later :()

That's pre 97, it carried on and never stopped after :)
The Giant was given back to me in 2010 and started me on the retro thing.
In 2015 I bought the Orange back off the mate I sold it to BITD.

First mountain bike was a Mongoose Sycamore, then the following.
Mongoose Amplifier
1995 Mountain Cycle San Andreas (still have it)
1997 Mountain Cycle Moho STS (still have it)
1999 Mountain Cycle Moho CXS (still have it), had two others but sold them
2001 Mountain Cycle Tremor (current build)
Working on getting a 2000 Mountain Cycle Shockwave MK1

I am just a tad brand loyal
