What manitou's are these?

Just bought this frame, what Manitous are these? Are they any good? Are they elastomer or air/oil or what?

Don't know how high they were in range, but i do remember the preload adjust. You have to unscrew the top cap completely then move the circlip below and reinsert. They were on £1000 hardtails at the time

They certainly are Manitou Pro-C's - I ride these on my Marin and have done over 10,000 miles on them!

The circlip is a bit of a pain to adjust the fork as one side has siezed!

Let me know i you get stuck as I have the original manual if you want scans etc.

Ziggy - how do you find the coils and which ones do you use?! Mine have got the stock elastomer/ mini coils combo.

cool - thanks for the offer - may take you up on that! I collect the frame and forks on Friday. Hoping they're in reasonable condition.

Can't find anything on the web about these forks though - even mtbr.com doesn't seem to have anything... anybody got any links to some info/reviews?
