A healthier social life, a smaller bank balance and an ever-growing bike/part collection.
Its converted me back to biking after drifting out of it and ending up in the car scene, i started last year with one bike and two cars, one was a mildy modified mk4 astra with a smattering of irmscher tarty bits, the other was a 28 year old vauxhall nova with a 2.0 16v conversion and was a rather rare one off model in a different colour/spec to any other (ill shut up on that now)
Fast forward to this year and both the astra and the nova are gone, i have a combo for bike transporting duties and five rideable bikes and a handful of others awaiting rebuilding/projects!
Ive been and ridden places i always wanted to when younger but was never able to through never having a licence (then when i got it i fell out of bikes and into cars) peaks and goathland being two main ones for me, both done last year.
I have more mates that i see regularly, met loads of awesome people through here and on rides, seen some amazing bikes and builds, and im constantly looking forward to the next ride, the next jolly out in the woods with a load of other nutters stuck in the past!
