I would gladly give each and every bike designer who specced internal cable routing a punch in the nose for every hour of grief they've put upon me trying to thread their stupid wires down impossible to access small holes. Madness.

I've had customers loose control and crash with these in situations they've ridden through thousands of times before with "nosed" saddles .

The nose is important for bike control, but the high-spending spreadsheet loving triathlete is changing bike design -

All those internally routed cables is another of theirs.

I have given up counting the number of recalls on internal cable routing steerers.

Thinking about that pesky cable routing to the rear brake, would anyone consider a wirelessly operated rear brake? Apparently Shimano are way ahead of us:

Rod brakes predate the bowden cable.
That's wireless enough for me
