as title folks, I am undertaking a couple of builds at the moment and was wondering what the majority of people think about the importance of grips.
casting my mind back, i used to have rubber slide on grips from club roost, fred salmon & GT amongst others but on my current 'complete' bike (an early orange gringo) I've got a set of club roost 'go fast' lock-ons which i must admit, i do prefer for a few reasons.
so, question 1 is simple, is it a sin to go for a new grip on a retro bike?
question 2 is just as simple.... if not, what good alternatives do i have that are available today that will be comfortable and won't split after 6 months of use.
