Hi guys
What grease do you use in general, ie for headsets , bb,s ,hubs ,etc ?
I always used to buy finish line teflon grease but times are hard and working in a garage i have a pretty good supply of castrol lm :) just wondered what you thought about it for bike use ?
Cheers Paul

I bought a 500 ml DT Swiss Motorex grease tube in 2000 (yellow translucent stuff). It lasts til today. I use it for all my purposes including my Dualco grease gun in order to re-grease my XC Pro GG components.

LM for me! The big tin I bought 15 years ago is nearly empty...
Thats good enough for me then :D
used to have relations in poulner so spent many happy days in the forest, had some great summer weekday sickie rides with a buddy of mine there too lol !
cheers paul.

Don't use the mrs ky..

it's water based and will wash away the slightest bit of rain/water

Another vote for Castrol LM grease here, use it on my bikes and car as well.
It's also great for stopping squealing rim brakes...

Someone mentioned that LM could rot the seals in sealed parts an not to use it. True or not? I'm not sure, so I switched to using TF2 red teflon grease just in case, especially in parts like my old Suntour XC and Deore 1 parts.
