We learnt to remind budding mechanics everywhere that when they've the cassette remover in the bench vice and they're turning the wheel with all their might clockwise with a strange " clickaty clickaty " noise emitting from it they're actually tightening it!

....that when you strip the threads out of a pedal arm using the crank extractor, an angle grinder works well as a remidy. Though the crank arm gets VERY HOT... ahhh sh*t!
