What colour bartape on my blue frame?

I'm having a right struggle trying to choose grip colour. I've already had black as you can see, however i'm going to buy some of that shiny retro tape and i'm tempted to change colour. Part of me wants red, but i think it might be a bit too much. Silver looks cool, or should i just keep it black?

I'm in the process of rebuilding the bike with a Sram Automatix Coaster rear hub, so i wont have any cables on the bike and it will be super clean. Will be my city bike for when im at Uni...

Maybe have a white saddle with some red accents to match the bar tape..........

Never thought of white with red, that would look rather cool!

That's what I was worried about, I thought if the saddle and tape don't match then it will look odd, but you're right it's only cheap to buy so if it does look silly it won't be much of a loss!

I decided against white as the bike will be used as an all weather commuter and not just a weekend bike. I've had white grips on my MTB before, and they were a pain to keep clean.

Went for red in the end. At first, i was a bit unsure on them.

The bike has been in my room for the past few days whilst i wait for my rear hub, and i must say everyday the colour has been growing on me. Really does look good now IMO. Cant wait to finish the bike
