If it were me I would pick up a couple of bikes. Always cheap old machines on Gumtree and the like.

That gives you one on the road while you are fettling the other.

500 quid mate christ you can get 10 bikes for that if you work it well

although

this cost me 650 to build
its a bit wish list so could easily be done for 500

my advice would be to invest your £500,and buy and flip thus getting the bits you want and profiting from the stuff you dont

Mikee- now that's a stunning piece of kit,and your bike collection wow dribble on my t shirt! When I first set out my budget I hadn't found the sale section I'd just looked on eBay etc. Now I've found the sale section my brains going mushy haha. I ve got a plan now going to get a couple of bikes and mess around trade, buy, sell,swap. And hopefully by Xmas end up with my dream machine :xmas-cool:
