What can be found during a ride?

I was riding at Dartmoor last Friday. When I was enjoying a bit of downhill moment I noticed something laying in the grass. Slammed the brakes, nearly killed myself, but it was worth it - nice, polartec 100 North Face top in my size, in like new condition! :-D

Have you got any quality trophies from your rides?

Rode past a film crew and a "couple" shooting a porno once..... Not sure that counts as a "trophy" though!

Me and my friends stumbled across a couple in the woods once. Unfortunately I was at the back so didn't see much. The male got up and ran off leaving the female just lying there. Which to be honest was probably the best thing he could have done for our young eyes.

Oh, and half a broken QR a few months ago.

Seems to be quite a common occurrence then, also whizzed past a couple who were banging for Britain at Hamsterley Forest, I think there were seven of us charging past on bikes and the couple didn't know what hit them.......good times!

Not a biking find but get this...
Back in my Scouting days (Baden Powell, not down Villa Park - don't blame me!) we were mountain walking & I had my Walkman with me. Somewhere up I lost the battery cover. On the way back down, lo & behold I stumbled upon it lying there in the middle of an Austrian Mountain...

Must've been the time my luck ran out!

Recently found a titanium bottle cage. :shock:

It was in it's case so I thought it was a gun. Casually picked it up and put it in my hoodie pocket before riding off to a more private area to inspect my find:

I also found a wallet riding a deserted out and back trail in Canaan Valley, West Virginia (24 hrs of Canaan fame). Realized it was my own - and also my car keys were missing. Found them about a mile later.

Once, I was hurtling down the trail and stopped for something that glistened on the ground. Picked it up to discover its was 20p. Went and bought a chomp bar later that afternoon. It was a beautiful day
