Danson67 is repairing it. He's going to remove the threaded part, put a new piece on, sleeve the join and turn it down so that the crown race will pass over it an d then re thread it.

We've just come back from a ride and he loves it

It's finished now

Finally got the forks back from Danson67 after he repaired the thread, filled old mashed thread with brass, filed and re-cut thread.
Spent the afternoon tinkering and fitting these was the only thing that went right.
I think they look ace
