I think slight difference is that the content presented here the original producer is not interested in making money with it anymore. Mags are busy selling ad space to companies, we're they do than write an article about. That's what makes their world go round. They've no time to pay attention to retro sites and if they do have they will probably only enjoy with a big smile on their face and show sympathy for people being busy with "the good old days".
