Hi...first post on what seems to be a great site!
I've dug out my 1980s Claud Butler Dalesman which has not turned a wheel in over 10 years and it's having a bit of a makeover with a bit of a nod to the Charge Plug.
At the moment it's got the really old Shimano 105 non index rear mech (the one with the gold arrow) but I've got hold of the later one (with the jockey wheels hidden under the ally cover) and I am desperatly trying to find some index levers to go with it.
It's running an older 6 speed frewheel rather than a casette, so I guess they'd need to be 6 or maximum 7 speed shifters. Can be band-on or bar end, or possibly even braze on if I can get the new levers to fit the band of the current shifters.
