Wanted cannondale 2002 F700
Headshock parts / damper . Thread is damaged where you pump it up and seal is leaking. Many thanks .

Which seal do you think is leaking and have you replaced any of the seals yet? This thread has a good explanation and you can see the seals for the bit you have photographed - see post #8
https://community.vintagecannondale.com/threads/headshock-super-fatty-first-attempt-on-service.277/If the damaged threads are on the Shraeder valve, I can't remember if that is replaceable. The seal kit I had came with a new valve core, but not the whole new valve.

Its not the piston you need to replace its the air canister correct? And more precisely the valve end? I have a view and can sell you one. If its just the valve core that is leaking then thats just a matter of swapping out the valve core with a tool from amazon/tyre shop.. if its leaking air through the piston then its a matter of changing the o-rings on the piston, which I also have.
